Migration Aid's refugee shelter on Madridi Street (Budapest, 13.district) has been operating since 12 March 2022. It is primarily a transit shelter, providing accommodation for a few nights for people who have fled Ukraine and are travelling onwards.
The shelter offers double and multi-bedded rooms, sanitary facilities, three meals a day and a "supermarket" to provide free access to essentials.
In addition, there is WI-FI, a children's room, a study room, a clothes closet and a kindness service.
Languages spoken: Hungarian, English, Ukrainian, Russian, German
Other information: female staff, separate toilets for men and women, building is not suitable for people with disabilities.
